Vina’s life began with unimaginable loss.
Only a few days old, she was found beside her mother after she had sadly died following a crow attack. Vina herself had small crow peck injuries along her back, a heartbreaking reminder of just how vulnerable she had been. Thankfully, she was rescued in time and brought into the safety of Lamb Care Australia.
When Vina arrived, she was also suffering from bilateral entropion, a painful condition where her eyelids rolled inward, irritating her eyes. Despite the discomfort, she remained bright, trusting and eager for affection. With veterinary care and ongoing treatment, she has continued to grow stronger every day.
Vina has the gentlest nature and loves nothing more than being cuddled while she has her bottle. She is a quiet, affectionate little ewe who finds comfort in those around her and is beginning to discover that the world can be a safe place.
From such a heartbreaking beginning, Vina has blossomed into a beautiful young lamb with a gentle soul. Now thriving in care, she is ready to find a forever home where she can leave the sadness of her first days behind and spend the rest of her life surrounded by love, kindness and companionship.
