When tiny Oak and Alder first came into care, they were fragile little souls who had to be gently lifted from their mother’s side when she could no longer provide the milk they needed to survive.
Oak, the more sensitive of the two, needed to be held tightly in his carer’s arms to feel safe, while Alder—just a little more sure on his feet—quickly found comfort in the company of new friends. We knew then that healing would take time, and for these boys, we had all the time in the world.
Now, Oak and Alder are thriving.
They’ve been joined by a lovely little lamb named Clarissa, who has slotted into their lives like she was always meant to be there. The trio are inseparable—especially during their nightly ritual of zooming around the house before bedtime, filling the home with tiny hooves and big joy.
Watching them grow, play, and learn to trust is the very heart of what we do.
Because every lamb deserves a safe place to land—and someone who’ll wait patiently while they find their feet.
