Luca arrived after being found alone, covered in afterbirth and crying for help. Thankfully, he was found by the right person, someone who knew of Lamb Care Australia and reached out for help.
Since coming into care, Luca has blossomed into the most beautiful, sweet and adventurous lamb. He loves to be loved, cuddled and held close, and has a gentle confidence that makes everyone who meets him fall in love.
José was surrendered by a farmer after being found without his mother, covered in blood and afterbirth. Already a big lamb at just one day old, he quickly showed himself to be a gentle giant. José loves nothing more than a cosy nap, especially beside the heater, and has recently discovered the joy of sleeping on the couch.
Together, Luca and José have become incredible little advocates for lambs. From appearing on the news to standing at Parliament, they have helped spread an important message, that lambs and sheep are intelligent, loving individuals who deserve kindness, care and compassion.
Bethany arrived into care after being found on the side of the road just outside Melbourne. The family who found her contacted their local shire, then Zoos Victoria, who thankfully helped guide them to Lamb Care Australia.
Small but mighty, Bethany is a sassy little lady with confidence well beyond her size. From the very beginning, she has moved through the world in her own determined way. She is playful, affectionate and full of personality, whether she is attacking shoes and boots, jumping on the bed to play, or letting her carers know when she would like her head held and cheeks gently stroked.
With Bethany’s arrival, Luca and José found a new flock friend, and the three have become the perfect little trio. Each brings something special, balancing one another beautifully, and together they have formed the sweetest friendship.
Luca, José and Bethany are the best of friends, three little lambs who found safety, love and each other.
