Brida came into care after being found freezing cold and alone by the farmer. Her temperature upon arriving into care was only just over 33 degrees and hypothermic. She was conscious but very limp and floppy. We worked hard to warm her up and get her comfortable and she kept fighting too. Once warm and her body temperature had raised to within the normal range, she gained the strength to stand up and demand something to eat, we happily obliged. She has a loud baaaa for such a new little lady and we are glad she feels safe and able to let us know what she needs. Fast forward a couple of weeks and she is running, playing and frinking her bottles with enthusiasm. We are so grateful she is still with us and improving each day …so grateful in fact that we don’t even mind that the boys are teaching her naughty things. We have strong hopes for a long, healthy and wonderful future for her.
