Stirling and Easton are two beautiful little lambs whose difficult beginnings have been replaced by friendship, safety and love. Now, with their relaxed and easy-going personalities, they spend their days snoozing in the sunshine, eating, running and exploring the world together. The very best of friends, they are rarely far from one another and can almost always be found curled up side by side after a busy day of adventures.
Stirling, whose name means little star, was abandoned by his mum at birth. Though his life began without the comfort every newborn deserves, he quickly found security in the gentle care of his humans. Quiet but curious, he has grown into a confident little explorer who happily leads the way on bush walks, stopping to investigate every new sight and smell along the way. He has a soft nature and melts for a gentle scratch behind the ear.
Easton’s story is one of remarkable resilience. Rescued by Edgar’s Mission and transferred into our care after surviving a brutal bird of prey attack, he arrived frightened, injured and in need of intensive care. Day by day, with patience and kindness, his wounds healed and his trust returned. Today, the little lamb who once knew fear has become a gentle giant who adores affection from his carers and delights in annoying the older sheep with his playful antics.
Together, Stirling and Easton have found exactly what every lamb deserves, a best friend to lean on and a place where they are safe, cherished and loved. Watching them race through the paddocks before settling down together for an afternoon nap is a beautiful reminder that even the hardest beginnings can lead to a life filled with joy.
