Oliver and Jet arrived into care over the weekend. They are 2 of triplets and sadly their mum couldn’t manage to care for all 3 of her children so Oliver and Jet were removed. We can’t imagine what their mum must have felt seeing her 2 babies leave but we hope she knows they were being taken to safety and a loving home.
Oliver and Jet weighed only 2.9 and 2.5kg and were hypothermic. Although our carers have Intensive Care Units that can be used to warm hypothermic lambs, due to their location it was decided the quickest course of action was to get them into care at Edgars Mission. The 2 boys spent the night there and were warmed up and cared for before continuing their journey to one of our carers.
Fun fact
Oliver is the heater hog and he doesn’t like anyone to get in front position
