Sweet Pea arrived into care so new to the world that her little hooves had yet to harden and her umbilical cord as still fresh. She had a gorgeous gummy smile despite her harsh birth during the pouring rain. After a clean and dry off, Sweet Pea sprang to life taking her first wobbly steps and a warming bottle. Sweet Pea is growing stronger and more adventurous every day and has a very sweet and gentle personality which is winning over her new carers.
Roman was suffering from severe hypothermia so arrived in remarkably good condition thanks to the initial care he received. He was tired and scared but was happy to receive cuddles and a warm bottle of colostrum. He is currently being treated for pneumonia. Roman is a shy and gentle boy with a sweet personality. He has a quiet baa and loves his milk. He is also very patient waiting for his turn. As well as being friends with Sweet Pea, Roman also loves to spend time with his other newborn friends, Hunter and Squirrel. He is very affectionate with them and, although loves to curl up with them to sleep, if he gets separated from his friends he will curl up and go to sleep on his own. So he is often found by his carers in odd places. Roman has a very distinctive face with a long nose and small eyes buried under his wool. He looks a bit like a horse or a Roman soldier. He has the longest legs that took him a few days to get the hang of. He is quiet but curious and loves to explore with the reassurance of his carers nearby.
