4 day old twins, Marlie and Madison, arrived into care after a storm swept through the area where they were living with their mum. In blinding rain they were separated from her and were found alone the next morning, thankfully in surprisingly good health. Unable to reunite them with their mum, the farmer delivered them into our care.
Madison is the more confident of the 2 and is not afraid to venture into new areas with Marlie happily following along and gaining confidence from his sister. Madison has a quiet baa but will push her way to the front for a bottle and attempt to steal everyone else’s bottle once she is finished! In comparison Marlie, a lamb with a baa that is so soft it is almost like the purr of a cat, was very slow to drink his bottle at first. Now that he has settled in, he copies his sister and is also one of the first to finish and a cheeky boy who attempts to steal other bottles.
These siblings are understandably very close. Although Madison and Marlie are happy to do their own thing, they will always be found curled up together when it comes to their sleep time.
