Hunter and his twin Squirrel, arrived cold and afraid but healthy. Hunter was very alert and interested in the new environment he had found himself in and was quick to introduce himself to the other lambs in care. Poor Squirrel was the total opposite. He loved the reassuring cuddles from his carers and cried non stop unless he was held.
Despite being twins, they were very different in personality. Hunter is affectionate, cuddly and gentle with a loud baa when he is searching for his carer. He enjoys exploring, sleeping by the fire and bottle time. Squirrel is affectionate, shy, cuddly, gentle, softly spoken and inquisitive.
Hunter learnt his name within a few days and is very responsive when called. He loves eating mud on their walks and then wipes his mouth clean on all the other lambs. Squirrel has the sweetest face framed with elfin-like features and big, soft brown eyes. He is small and delicate with a mischievous charm.
Hunter loves Squirrel. They are often found curled up asleep together. Hunter is the braver of the twins and encourages the shy Squirrel to be more adventurous. Squirrel really does rely on Hunter for reassurance. Hunter is very sweet with him and they are very affectionate with each other and their other friend Roman.
