Rosie and Georgie were rescued nearly 2 months ago. They now live with our carers in the North of Victoria. Both lambs are doing well and have developed a strong bond with each other. It is so good to see the result of our work in two such healthy and beautiful lambs.

Georgie and Rosie had been going along well and were very healthy, until recently Rosie became a little bit sick. She was less interested in eating and her energy levels declined. Luckily after a short course of antibiotics and some special treatment, Rosie is back to her cheeky self. Georgie remains healthy and is her usual unique and quirky self. She is very fluffy and pure white. The two spend their days grazing in the sunshine, and like to wander up to the big paddock to spend time with their three big brothers Xavier, Feliks and Kysaiah.

Georgie and Rosie are both doing very well! They have no health concerns and are reaching all normal milestones with no problems. Rosie is very attached to Georgie, but Georgie couldn’t care less and wanders off alone all the time! Hopefully in time Georgie will come to appreciate her friend as much as Rosie appreciates her.

Georgie is the bigger and older of the two, she’s quirky and can often be found staring at random things with her head to the side, clumsily playing around or head butting her sister Rosie. Rosie is smaller, sweet and gentle and has just started playing too. She has giant ears and is slender and long.

Georgie and Rosie both love to bounce in the air as high as they can go. They are drinking well and have no health issues, aside from some nutritional scours from Rosie. Both love kisses and nibbling beard hair.

Both Georgie and Rosie are doing well. Initially they were both anxious lambs, having lost their mums they were very attached to their Carer and would fret anytime she left their sight. Gradually they have become more confident and sure that their Carer will always return, with routine and consistency they are feeling safe and comfortable.

Rosie was found alone on the wrong side of the fence, covered in dry afterbirth. We were concerned that she hadn’t been cleaned or fed colostrum from her mother. She was lethargic and flat on arrival but quickly took to the bottle and was given powdered colostrum and a broad spectrum antibiotic. Rosie is much brighter today and is settling in with her new sister Georgie.

Georgie was found by some members of the public on the side of a busy highway. She is around 1-2 weeks old and healthy. Having lost her Mum and the rest of the flock, Georgie was very anxious and loud when she first arrived to our carers in the North. We gave her lots of reassurance and constant company until she settled down enough to drink a bottle. Today she is a much more settled and happy lamb with a lovely nature.
