Moana and Ariel

Get to know more about Moana and Ariel

Moana arrived into care terrified of anyone who came anywhere near her. She had the largest hernia our vet had ever seen. After a marathon surgery that was complicated due to the size of hernia, we are happy to say Moana is recovery is well on track so she can lead a happy healthy life. Although it will take her a while to fully trust her carer, she no longer has a terrified look in her eye and once caught will stand happily and enjoy a head scratch and her favourite treat – weetbix.

Ariel arrived underweight, nervous around humans and with a broken leg that needed to be amputated. She had a successful surgery and is now starting to trust her carers as they bring all her favourite foods. Ariel’s wound is healing well, she is putting on weight and starting to show her sweet personality.
