In ancient Greek mythology, Pan is the god and protector of shepherds and flocks and is half sheep and half man. Our Pan, who was premature and only 1.7kg on arrival, is sweet and timid, probably because of his small size. He’s like a cute bunny you just want to tuck under your (non-woollen!) sweater. He spends a lot of time sleeping but enjoys a little wander from time to time. He never complains and you rarely hear anything from him. He loves to chew, whether that be a teething ring or a toilet paper roll!
Pan is the perfect friend for Jethro who fell off a transport truck after his mum gave birth to him on the vehicle. Jethro arrived very timid and quiet and would take himself off into a corner away from the other lambs when he wanted to sleep. With a lot of reassurance and cuddling. he soon started to come around and began sleeping up against the other lambs he was in care with.
Pan is a cosy and happy little boy and Jethro really is a big, fluffy smoocher with handsome looks. In combination with his very soft, gentle baa we think he will be a heartbreaker amongst all the other young lambs.
