When Jovi arrived, he needed to be monitored closely as his mum passed away when giving birth and his siblings also didn’t survive. We are pleased to say he is now doing very well in care. Jovi is one of the cutest lambs you’ll ever meet. Apparently, according to his carer, he is as cute as his name sake Jon Bon Jovi! One reason Jovi lamb is so cute is because of his distinctive multicoloured fleece. While Jon Bon Jovi soaked up the attention of the adoring crowds, Jovi lamb can be a bit of a loner. You might find him lying by the heater while the other lambs are engaged in a round of playful headbutting. Jovi’s attitude is “I’m cute and I know it. I’ve been here before and I know how the world works”. So at feed time he plays it cool, hangs at the back of the crowd and looks at his carer with eyes that would melt her heart. Then he gets fed first without having to jostle for position! Jovi really has something unique about him.
Topaz, despite her diminutive size and pixie like appearance, can compete with other lambs to get her bottle and will probably have a big personality as she grows. Topaz loves to sleep and is a heater hog, pushing everyone out of the way for the heater even though she’s really small. Despite her shows of strength, Topaz loves a hug and sleeps with her carer at night.
