Without a sheep farm in sight, newborn Isabel appears to have been yet another lamb to have fallen from a trailer or truck. Finding herself in the middle of the road, Isabel was lucky to have not been hit by the cars whose drivers, instead of stopping to pick up the baby from the road, instead swerved to miss her and continued on their way. Thankfully one kind person stopped and rescued her from certain death.
Isabel is very frightened at the moment and is needing constant reassurance. One can only imagine how terrifying the world must have looked to a tiny baby all alone on a road with cars flying by. We know that now she is in our care and being shown love and kindness she will soon realise she is safe and has nothing to fear.
