Luca was found completely alone by the side of a country road. There was no one in sight and no farm houses in the vicinity. Although transporting pregnant ewes is illegal, it is a regular occurrence and we think little Luca may have fallen from one such truck as his umbilical cord was still wet. Fortunately for Luca a kind passerby saw him and contacted us to ask if we would take him into our care. We are pleased to say he is drinking well and seems strong.
