Anastasia arrived with some issues with her legs and part of her tail missing. She has since had her tail amputated and fortunately her leg issues should be resolved in time with some corrective hoof trimming. Anastasia was a shy girl on arrival who has blossomed into one of the most affectionate lambs her carer
Franky came into care after she had an accident involving a wire fence. The wire cut off her circulation and eventually the lower part of her limb fell off. Franky is a strong contender for a prosthetic limb which would be a first for LCA. If that isn’t possible, however, she will need the remaining
Jasper is very independent and loves to run off to explore and only when he is ready will he join the group. He will often be found behind the couch choosing his favourite book to chew on. Jasper’s carer has already decided that this little spunky monkey will be a front runner for 2024 World’s
Evander might be the smallest of the group, but he still knows how to throw some punches during bottle time. He jumps on the backs of the other lambs to get closer to his carer in case they forget about him! Evander is a happy little boy who loves a cuddle and is very fond
When Jayme arrived he was very scared, especially of loud noises. It didn’t take long, however, for him to realise he was safe and his fear diminished rapidly. Jayme likes to let his carer know if she is being too slow with his bottle or if he would like more by giving her a gentle
Cricket is a tiny lamb who is full of lots of love to give to everyone, both human and animal, who crosses his path. He is never in a rush for anything except when it comes to getting first spot on top of the heater 🥰 Photos: James Nilsson
Tippa was found in the middle of the road outside a tip with a damaged tail. She was a tiny little lamb with the prettiest face and a determined spirit. Tippa looks angelic but is very dramatic. She has an ear piercing scream when demanding attention or a bottle and will do just about anything for a cuddle.
Rubble came into care after his tail was partially bitten off by a predator. Following a visit to the vet for emergency surgery, Rubble is starting to feel a lot better and his little sweet personality is starting to shine through. Photos: Meg Milde
