A question we are often asked is why the lambs in our care wear nappies. The answer to that is that young lambs are unable to maintain sufficient body heat of their own in this cold winter weather. Without their mums to keep them warm, they spend alot of time indoors during the first couple of months of their lives whilst in care.
This year, Animal Rescue Australia has joined with us to help with a nappy drive. This event is aimed at collecting enough nappies to see us through the remainder of the year.
If you would like to donate a packet of size 10-15kgs nappies, that can be purchased at Woolworths, Coles or Aldi for only $10 per pack of 50, please contact our Operations Director at [email protected] to arrange the best drop off point for your location.
